PHASE 1
This was the phase where all of Cornerstone began. The pedals developed during this period were focused on sounds that I (Emilio) personally sought to meet my needs as a guitarist. The search for dynamism and touch sensitivity has always been present from the beginning, along with the desire to create original pedals, not just simple clones.
PHASE 2
After wiping the slate clean and discontinuing the production of all phase 1 pedals, the new phase 2 began in 2019, inaugurated by the pedal that became Cornerstone’s flagship, the Gladio. Pedals from phase 2 are characterized by further improvements in construction, as we began to employ more advanced techniques and technologies, along with updated design.
PHASE 3
A new way of conceiving pedals, both aesthetically and functionally, with a fresh approach to construction using a full-3D approach and a focus entirely centered on addressing the actual ‘problems’ faced by guitarists that need to be solved through our pedals. With so many pedals on the market, we don’t want to offer ‘common’ things but real solutions, tools to renew the experience with effects.
